Who we are

Rebecca Klein
- is our project coordinator and became interested in starting up a cheetah program when she moved to Botswana to work at Mokolodi Nature Reserve. Upon discovering that there was no conservation going on for the regularly persecuted and endangered cheetah, she teamed up with Dr Kyle Good to try and initiate a program.
She has a degree in Wildlife Biology from Leeds University, UK and has experience in a wide range of conservation projects worldwide.

Dr Kyle Good
- is our full time veterinarian. She moved to Botswana after living in Zimbabwe as a wildlife vet and conducting a study on Matopos black rhinos. She came to work as Mokolodi's vet at the wildlife rehabilitation centre. Here she also became involved in the plight of cheetahs in Botswana.
Kyle studied for her DVM at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and has had experience on working on a large range of African animals from snakes to leopards and more.

Wabotlhe Letubo
- is our Conservation Education Coordinator and joined the project in June 2006. After completing her degree in Environmental Science and Population Studies at the University of Botswana, Wabotlhe worked as a researcher for the Botswana/USA partnership (BOTUSA)and the Botswana Training Authority (BOTA), as well as for the university itself. Wabotlhe is from Bobonong, Botswana, and with a background in environmental and population research, she brings a range of skills and experience to her community education role with CCB.

Phale Seele
- joined CCB in 2008. From Lentswelemoriti, Botswana, he holds a Degree in Conservation, Tourism and Sustainable Development from North West University, South Africa. He has previously conducted research into the impact of HIV/AIDS on primary and secondary education schools. His interests include the environment, culture and football. Phale has joined CCB in the role of Community Conservation/Education Officer.

Lorraine Boast
- joined CCB in July 2006, originally serving as a long term volunteer. From London in the UK, she holds an MSc in Medical Immunology from Kings University, London and volunteered for three years with the London Wildlife Trust, conducting small mammal research. Formerly responsible for the daily operation of CCB’s research camp at Jwaneng, Lorraine relocated to Ghanzi in 2008 and is now engaged as our Research Coordinator.

Morulaganyi Kokole
- (better known to everyone as Kokole) originally served at CCB as a short term volunteer in 2006. From Molepolole, Botswana, he holds a B-Tech Degree and a National Diploma in Nature Conservation. Having volunteered for Kruger National Park in South Africa and for Veld Products Research & Development in Botswana, Kokole became a full time member of CCB staff in March 2008 and serves as a Community Conservation Officer.

Winnie Bagwasi
- originally served at CCB as a volunteer during 2007. From Molepolole, Botswana, Winnie holds an Advanced Diploma in Game Ranching & Game Farm Management from Allenby Campus College, South Africa. She also holds a Certificate in Small Business Management and studies part time for a Diploma in Marketing. Winnie became a full time member of the CCB team in February 2008 and is engaged at our Mokolodi office as our Marketing Support & Administration Officer.

Brian Jones
- joined CCB in September 2005, originally serving as a long term volunteer. From Manchester in the UK, Brian’s professional background is in UK military and civil aviation before later entering the publishing world. He has served as both Vice-Chairman and Publicity Officer on the trustee board of a UK industrial heritage charity. A talented artist, graphic designer and published copywriter, Brian is responsible for creating CCB’s community/education/promotional resources and is also engaged as our Marketing Development Coordinator, based at Mokolodi Nature Reserve.
